the moon hare’s library
In Vietnamese myth, the Moon Hare sacrifices itself to feed the hungry Buddha, who then immortalizes it on the moon—a metaphor for how shared knowledge sustains us. Moon Hare leaps into fire to feed the hungry—only to live forever as a beacon. This series is our leap: sharing knowledge so it outlasts us.

6/11: Digital Detoxing & Cybersecurity Community Lecture:
@ Cafe Momento / Point of View | Fort Worth, TX
In this era of mass surveillance, billionaires profiting off of AI, and constant information access at your fingertips, it is vital that we evaluate the technologies that we use and go through a "detox" of sorts. This is to not only protect ourselves, but also unplug to recharge and heal ourselves before supporting our community again. In this workshop, I'll be touching on concepts of mass surveillance, technofascism, and cybersecurity for us to lay a critical media theory foundation. Then, we will do some cybersecurity housekeeping and look at some phone settings/app changes we can make to protect our data. Come with us as we learn and gain tools to take care of ourselves digitally!
July 2026:

@ Cafe Momento / Point of View | Fort Worth, TX
Using the Cyberfeminism Index by designer, professor, and researcher Mindy Seu, this lecture will explore cyberfeminism and the large variety of projects that artists and activists have created in the past—we will spend the evening critiquing these projects and discuss what we can learn from them in this day and age. The book itself contains more than 700 short entries of radical techno-critical activism in a variety of media and the evening will be filled with discussions considering how humans might reconstruct themselves by way of technology.
